Sunderland and Régis Le Bris face a stern test of their promotion credentials when they face Coventry City at a sold-out CBS Arena on Friday night.
Le Bris has some huge calls to make for the first leg of the Championship play-off semi final a the Black Cats look to bring a positive result back to Wearside for the second leg on Tuesday night. Here’s how we think he might go, both with his starting XI and his bench...
5. LB - Dennis Cirkin
Did well to play 120 minutes in the second leg after a spell sidelined with a hamstring injury and with a full week of training under his belt he should well placed for Wembley. | Getty Images
6. CM - Dan Neil
Sunderland's captain has a crucial role to play if Sunderland are to make it to the Premier League. Interesting to see if Le Bris reverts to 4-3-3, which would see Neil drop a bit deeper and might allow him to dictate the game a bit more. | Frank Reid
7. CM - Jobe Bellingham
One of the first names on the teamsheet. Will it be his last game for the club amid fierce interest from Borussia Dortmund? Will be determined to end on a high if so. | Getty Images
8. CM - Enzo Le Fee
It would be a risk to move Le Fee infield given how little football he has actually played there in a Sunderland shirt, but the final 15 minutes of extra time in the second leg showed just what he can do. Can Sunderland afford not to play their best player in his best position against a team of this quality? So much depends on Romaine Mundle's hamstring. | Getty Images
