The PA News Agency claim that all three EFL play-off finals could be rearranged or moved away from Wembley given the uncertainty over the UEFA Champions League final.

Manchester City and Chelsea are set to meet in the final of Europe’s premier club competition on Saturday, May 29 – with the game currently set to take place in Istanbul.

But with Turkey placed on the UK’s ‘red’ travel list – meaning travellers to the country are required to quarantine at a government-approved facility for ten days upon their return – there are calls for the game to take place in England.

And were the Champions League clash to be moved to Wembley, then that could lead to the play-off games being rearranged at short notice.

According to PA, the EFL will consider ‘all options’ should such a situation arise. That could mean playing the games on different dates or at an alternative venue.

The League One play-off final is currently set to take place on Sunday, May 30. The Championship final will take place on Saturday, May 29 with the League Two final on Monday, May 31.
