When is Sunderland v Lincoln City?

Sunderland v Lincoln City has been designated as ‘Match B’ in the play-off schedule.

This means that the first leg will take place on Wednesday, May 19 (6pm kick-off) at Sincil Bank.

The return leg at the Stadium of Light will then take place on Saturday, May 22 (3:30pm kick-off).

Is Sunderland v Lincoln City on TV? Is there a live stream?

Sunderland’s play-off clash with Lincoln will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

The first leg tie will be broadcast on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event, with coverage beginning at 5:30pm.

And the second leg at the Stadium of Light will be broadcast on the same two channels from 3:15pm.

Are there any tickets for Sunderland v Lincoln City?

Up to 10,000 Sunderland fans will be able to attend the home leg of the play-off clash.

Tickets will be sold in phases, with the first seats available to be snapped up from 10am on Wednesday, May 12.

2020/21 season ticket holders will have first priority on tickets and will be able to purchase their seats up until 4pm on Thursday, May 13.

Should any tickets remain available, 2021/22 season ticket holders will then be able to buy tickets from 10am on Friday, May 14.

Fans will be allocated seats on a first come, first served basis with no tickets available to purchase at the club’s ticket office or over the phone – all sales must be completed via the club’s online ticketing site.

Tickets will be priced at £20 for adults and £10 for under-16s and over-65s after discussions with supporter working groups.

Sunderland have also confirmed that tickets will be sold in ‘pods’ – with fans able to link their accounts via the online ticketing site to ensure they are seated in the same pod.

Supporters are also unlikely to be sat in the seat in which their season ticket was purchased for due to social distancing guidelines.

No away fans will be able to attend the fixture, with the first leg set to be played in front of approximately 3,145 Lincoln City supporters.

Who else is playing in the League One play-offs?

Blackpool will face Oxford United in the other play-off semi-final.

They will face-off at the Kassam Stadium on May 18, with the return tie at Bloomfield Road on May 21.

Both of those games will also be broadcast on Sky Sports Football, similarly to Sunderland and Lincoln City’s ties.

The winners of both of those ties will will face off at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, May 30 with a place in the Championship on the line.
