Positive changes from the Sunderland camp

The final part of our SAFC survey is out today!

The Sunderland head coach has been discussing the takeover of the club...

It’s nice to be able to answer the questions at last.

It’s brilliant that it’s done, and the important thing now is that we can invest in the correct areas.

Kyril is coming in, he has some great ideas and he is very well-rounded. He has had a front-row seat watching his dad run Marseille and Club Bruges, so I have been very impressed with him and I’m looking forward to working with him and trying to take the club forward.

Kyril Louis-Dreyfus is getting to work on Wearside

The new chairman was in the stands at Burton Albion on Saturday and is already making his presence known at the Academy of Light.

The club has advertised two jobs – lead data scientist and head of analysis and data - another positive sign of the aim to make key appointments in the football structure under the new owner.

Since Louis-Dreyfus’ planned takeover was first announced Lee Johnson has been appointed head coach, Kristjaan Speakman appointed sporting director and Steve Davison chief operating officer, tasked with 'spearheading business operations, overseeing and leading all non-football related functions at the Stadium of Light.'
