The Black Cats moved upto fifth in League One following this week’s 2-0 win over Fleetwood – their third consecutive league win.

There has also been plenty going on off the field following Kyril Louis-Dreyfus’ takeover deal, with Sunderland’s new owner already making changes behind the scenes at the Academy of Light.

A national report has also suggested the Wearsiders will look to sign Wolves defender Dion Sanderson on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
