Stewart Donald and Kyril Louis-Dreyfus were both in attendance as Sunderland took on Burton Albion in League One.

The Black Cats headed to the Pirelli Stadium in what was the first official game of Louis-Dreyfus’ reign as chairman, after the billionaire saw his purchase of a majority share in the club approved by the EFL on Thursday.

And the 24-year-old was once again in the crowd watching Sunderland at Burton – having taken in fixtures against Shrewsbury, Doncaster and Lincoln in recent weeks.

He was joined in the stands by outgoing chairman Stewart Donald, who was spotted at a game for the first time since the draw at Northampton in January.

Donald will retain minority shares in the club as part of the deal, but Louis-Dreyfus is to be the one calling the shots.

The duo were not sat together, but were both in attendance at the League One fixture.
