9. Aiden McGeady
Played with real discipline off the ball and was instrumental in the third goal, seizing on possession and carrying it all the way to the opposition box before assisting Diamond. A good shift. 7 Photo: FRANK REID 2019
10. Jack Diamond
A breakthrough afternoon for the talented youngster. Did superbly to win the penalty that got Sunderland ahead, and the third goal was a moment of individual brilliance. That he was brought off on a yellow card was a reminder that he remains raw, but he increasingly looks like a real weapon for Lee Johnson. Terrific to watch his fearlessness. 9 Photo: FRANK REID 2020
11. Charlie Wyke
Took both his goals superbly but was arguably even more impressive in how he pressed and held the ball up. An outstanding showing that firmly justified his recall to the starting XI. 9 Photo: FRANK REID 2019
12. Chris Maguire
An intelligent performance. Worked hard off the ball, made good decisions on it and produced a good assist for Wyke late on. 7 Photo: FRANK REID 2020
