43’ Off the post again!

First, Younger made an excellent block to deny Hoogewerf before the ball dropped to Iqbel, whose low shot rebounded off the post.
Still goalless.

The United defender delivered another low cross there but Younger positioned himself well to make an interception.
32’ Sunderland under pressure
The hosts have shaded the first half but haven’t had it all their own way.
United have posed a threat down the right through full-back Wellens and his low cross found Hooewerf on the edge of the area there, but his shot was deflected over.
29’ Hume causing more problems
The Sunderland left-back has come alive in the last few minutes and managed to intercept a loose throw from the goalkeeper there.
Hume then charged forward before his low shot was saved by Mee.
26’ Harris heads over
Another chance for Sunderland after a foray forward from Hume.
The Black Cats left-back hasn’t got forward that much in the first half but delivered an inviting cross for Harris who headed over.
20’ Dyce causing problems
The left winger has looked lively in the early exchanges.
