1. Jon McLaughlin
Will perhaps feel he could have done better with Taylor’s equaliser but stepped up with a superb stop to deny Sadlier just after Sunderland had retaken the lead. 6 Photo: COPYRIGHT (C) FRANK REID 20187

2. Luke O'Nien
Denied only by a stunning save from Dieng late on. Pressed well and got forward at every opportunity in a strong showing. 7 Photo: COPYRIGHT (C) FRANK REID 20187

3. Denver Hume
Showed excellent intent and enterprise throughout the contest. Produced a fine assist for Maguire’s winner and was a constant thorn in Doncaster’s side. 8 Photo: FRANK REID

4. Joel Lynch
One or two uncertain clearances but overall a very good return to the starting XI, imposing in the air and in the challenge. 7 Photo: COPYRIGHT (C) FRANK REID 20187
