Régis Le Bris names the Sunderland duo who set perfect example for club's 13 summer recruits
Sunderland have made a strong start to the Premier League campaign despite a summer of significant upheaval
Régis Le Bris has praised Wilson Isidor and Enzo Le Fée for setting the perfect example for Sunderland's summer arrivals.
Sunderland's outstanding start to the Premier League campaign has not gone unnoticed in France, with Le Bris and his cohort of French players drawing attention for their work in leading the club to fourth after 11 games. In the build up to Arsenal's visit to the Stadium of Light last week, which Sunderland would go on to draw 2-2, Le Bris was asked by a visiting journalist how the club’s french-speaking contingent had adapted to life at the club.
Le Bris said the players who arrived in the summer have adapted easily on Wearside and praised two of his earlier signings for setting the tone last season.
He said: "Their adaptation has been excellent. We've kept the main language as English [around the training ground], but for most of them, their English is good.
"There is a collective energy that has emerged naturally, mostly because of the shared objectives. There are always very different stories, between a Granit on one side and a Noah Sadiki on the other. One is 33 years old and the other is 20. And yet they find themselves sharing the pleasure of playing football, of communicating together, of growing together, with the same desire to become a better player and a better team.
"In fact, the shared objectives are very clearly identified, which means that the cohesion took hold very quickly," he added.
"I said it very early on when I arrived. I think we have to learn to know our club and to show these fans, this community, that we are here for Sunderland. And if that's the case, they'll give their support to us. And from the start, it's the efforts of all our players. One of the first was Wilson or Enzo who despite their previous status, they gave everything for the club. They worked very hard, they showed humility. And in return, there is a good cohesion."

Why RLB is pleased with Enzo Le Fée's progress at Sunderland
Though Le Fée was at fault for Arsenal's first goal at the Stadium of Light, the midfielder has been in very strong form across recent weeks for Sunderland and has established himself as first choice on the left flank.
"I'm really pleased with the dynamic of Enzo," Le Bris said.
"He started a bit slowly this season for different reasons. Maybe physical reasons, maybe the new set-up, his position as well. So we had many conversations. I trust him 100 per cent, his mentality and his potential level at this Premier League. After that, it's a long journey with a new team, new teammates, and we finally found a good position with different references.
"So I think the left triangle with Noah, Rei, even with the support of Lucha, for example, is really interesting. It's really difficult to understand how they behave because they are combining, they are moving with their own creativity, and it takes time. It's not like just one training session and the output will be positive. He's doing well now."
