What's the latest team news?
Sunderland will have to make at least one change from the side that suffered defeat at Portsmouth, with Joel Lynch ruled out through injury.
Charlie Wyke is also a doubt, while Grant Leadbiiter has been given some time away from the club for 'personal reasons'.
If Wyke is absent, Kyle Lafferty or Will Grigg are likely to take his place.
Team news! Wyke starts, Flanagan in for Lynch
And the Ipswich Town side this afternoon
Wyke offers a boost for Parkinson
Good to see Charlie Wyke pass a fitness test to take his place in the starting line-up, with Kyle Lafferty on the bench with Antoine Semenyo.
Alim Ozturk takes his place on the bench. There is no Grant Leadbitter today, he has been granted a leave of absence by the club.
And we're off - and SAFC are shooting towards the Roker End
The Roker End looked good prior to KO with their flag display, big day here as the game is also hosting the International Fans' Day with hundreds of fans travelling from all around the world today. Great to see.
6' Good block from O'Nien
Not the best of starts from Sunderland, fairly quiet and tame. A corner comes to nothing. O'Nien was called upon a moment ago to make an important block.
In other news, Stewart Donald is here today, hasn't been at a game since before Christmas.
Wyke has the ball in the net! But it's ruled offside
And the replays looked to have that down as the correct decision, Wyke appeared offside. Good opening for Sunderland though.
12' Goalless here after a quiet start to proceedings
20' Boos as O'Nien booked for foul on Wilson
The Sunderland defender slid in from behind, a booking and boos from the home end. Still goalless here. No clear chances as yet.
22' Bailey Wright with an important block
Frustration among the home fans. Sunderland are second best here at the moment. Referee Jeremy Simpson getting boos from the home end. Downes booked for Ipswich.
Sunderland 'living dangerously' here, Norwood has just seen an effort fizz wide too
O'Nien was booked for this a little earlier
27' How are Sunderland doing?
It's cagey, Sunderland second best at the moment, struggling to build much in the way of any rhythm. Ipswich look a threat when they do break. Had a couple of openings. Still goalless here.
