First-half thoughts from Carrow Road

HALF-TIME: NORWICH 0 SUNDERLAND 1

39’ Calm from Patterson

Sunderland’s keeper hasn’t had much to do in this first half but was calm collecting a cross from Sara there.

Moments later Michut got ahead of Sara to block the Norwich midfielder’s shot.

Puuki is booked for pulling back Gelhardt when Sunderland were trying to get forward on the counter attack.

The hosts are leaving big gaps at the back.

25’ Home fans getting restless

The home fans are starting to get frustrated with their side conceding possession when trying to play out from the back.

Norwich have looked vulnerable so far.

Aarons has gone down for Norwich after a challenge from Gelhardt.

The full-back is back on now.

That should be 2-0!

Neil’s header back into the box sent Gelhardt through one on one with the keeper, yet the forward hit his shot straight at Gunn.
