The midfielder – who is highly-regarded by Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa – has put pen to paper on a temporary move to the LNER Stadium having been linked with a host of clubs over the course of the summer.
Sunderland were one side reportedly keen on the 20-year-old, while Hull City, Huddersfield Town, Swindon Town and Doncaster Rovers had all been touted as potential destinations.

Hide AdBut it’s the Imps who have won the race for his signature in a move which Gotts says transpired rapidly.
"To be honest, it's come around quite quickly,” he told Lincoln’s official website.
"But as soon as I did hear interest, I was really keen to get the deal done.
"It was a bit of a stressful night last night. On the motorway it was stressful and coming down - it was all a bit last minute.
"But I'm really happy to be here."

Hide AdGotts is known to be a favourite of Bielsa at Elland Road, but was keen to head out on loan having seen his opportunities in Yorkshire restricted to under-23 appearances.
"It just excites me,” he said of the move.
"Now is the time. The time is right to do it and I want to experience it and I feel like it will be good for me on and off the pitch.
"Living on my own, I haven't experienced that so I'm really happy to get going."
