It was another eye-catching round of results, with some big wins moving a number of sides moving into play-off and promotion contention. Some surprise results also changed the picture considerably at the bottom of the league, with Bolton Wanderers showing significant signs of life against Sunderland even as the prospect of a further points deduction hangs in the air. Phil Smith runs through the games to establish who is on the up and impressing, and who is showing worrying signs of losing momentum…
21. 3. Doncaster Rovers (+3)
Produced arguably the best result of the weekend with a commanding home win over Peterborough. Over 20 shots reflected a dominant display with Kieran Sadlier again impressing. The departures of Grant McCann and John Marquis raised a lot of question marks over the side but Darren Moore has them well organised and few can match their points-per-game ratio. Photo: George Wood
22. 2. Coventry City (-1)

23. 1. Ipswich Town (+1)
Currently the dominant side in the division. They are not overwhelming sides but their success is being built on a rock solid defence, that has conceded just four goals all season and is delivering clean sheet after clean sheet. Setting the pace with impressive consistency. Photo: Stephen Pond
