Mowbray wishes Stuart well
Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray says Head of Recruitment Stuart Harvey was headhunted by Sunderland.
The Black Cats are expected to appoint Harvey in a similar role as they finally move towards landing a replacement for Tony Coton.

Hide AdAhead of Blackburn’s meeting with Wycombe, Mowbray said: “For Stuart it’s a positive for him, he had an offer he probably couldn’t refuse I’d suggest, he was headhunted, and he’s made the decision for his life and his career and I wish him well.
“For our football club recruitment still remains massively important, the processes that Stuart put in place are very much still there, he doesn’t take that with him, this club have invested a lot of money on different systems, data-driven systems that cost quite a lot of money that spill out the names of the footballers who spit out the names of the players we want to play.”
Martin in talks over new contract
Elsewhere in League One, MK Dons are reportedly in talks with manager Russell Martin over a new contract.
The 35-year-old has a deal at the club until 2022, but according to the Athletic, The Dons are hoping they can strike a new deal with him.
MK Dons sit 12th in League One table.

Hide AdShrewsbury to miss out on Chapman
Finally, Shrewsbury’s hopes of signing winger Harry Chapman on a free transfer have been dashed.
The 23-year-old has impressed since joining the Shrews on loan in January, scoring six goals in 13 League One appearances.
Yet Rovers boss Mowbray has said the club will trigger a one-year contract extension.
“Harry Chapman will come back in pre-season undoubtedly,” Mowbray told LancsLive.
