and live on Freeview channel 276
Sunderland were held to a goalless draw against Bristol City at the Stadium of Light in the Championship.
The hosts created the better chances in the first half as opposing goalkeeper Max O’Leary made some impressive saves. Substitute Bradley Dack then went close after the interval when he headed Trai Hume’s cross against the crossbar.
Here’s how the game played out:
Sunderland vs Bristol City
What to make of those sides
So it’s three changes for Sunderland following Monday's defeat against Blackburn.
Leo Hjelde, Chris Rigg and Jack Clarke return to the starting XI, with Patrick Roberts, Romaine Mundle and Callum Styles dropping to the bench. Aji Alese is back on the bench as Abdoullah Ba isn’t named in the squad.
Bristol City have made two changes following their 1-0 win over Plymouth on Monday. Mark Sykes and Nahki Wells come into the side, with defender Rob Dickie missing out with a calf injury.
2' Early pressure from Bristol City
The visitors start the brighter as Pring charges down the left before Neil turned the wing-back’s low cross behind for a corner.
Twine’s delivery was then punched away by Patterson before Mehmeti’s shot was blocked.
5' Rigg on the right
As expected Rigg has started on the right for Sunderland, with Bellingham up front.
The visitors have started with a back three and wing-backs.
7' Quick feet from Aouchiche
That was better from Sunderland as Aouchiche skipped past Knight inside the Bristol City box before his dinked cross was held by O’Leary.
Moments later, Hume’s cross from the right was turned behind for a corner.
12' More chances for Sunderland
Sunderland look the most likely to score right now.
Neil’s shot is blocked, as the home fans appeal for handball, before Aouchiche skews an effort wide from inside the box.
9' What a save!
Somehow Bristol City are still level.
Aouchiche’s in-swinging corner was headed back across goal to Ballard, whose header was scooped away by O’Leary on the goalline.
Still goalless.
