@LovelyLarsson commented: “How wrong I was thinking being relegated from the premier league was ‘rock bottom’ for Sunderland”

@Capt_Fishpaste posted: “I’ve seen pensioners finish marathons with more energy than #SAFC have shown today.”

@brettd1981 said: “This is even worse then the first half, so slow in all areas. We just don't look creating anything. The worst Sunderland team in our history”

@Th0dg70n tweeted: “Surely the HT team talk from PP consisted of something along the lines of “first 10 get at them” we’ve barley been their half !!!!”

@DeanCruddace commented: “Hoof, foul, hoof, sideways, backwards, hoof. Coventry pile forward in numbers. Us at home? Hoof it to Will Grigg on his own up front. We really are that bad.”

@Laking86 added: “If it isn’t a fitness issue I cannot understand how Watmore doesn’t start in this team. Once if the few points of difference in the squad. Even more so given how Maguire and McGeady seem incapable of passing to somebody in a red and white shirt”

@Philip_RJ89 said: “We’ve definitely regressed since Jack Ross left. Under his management we were, by and large, resilient and organised. Now, under Parkinson, for whatever reason, we resemble a clueless bunch of strangers. It’s as puzzling as it is infuriating”
