How Sunderland fans can claim a refund after Tranmere Rovers clash rearranged
Sunderland AFC have confirmed details of how supporters can claim a refund after their clash with Tranmere Rovers was rearranged.
The Black Cats were set to travel to Prenton Park on Tuesday, January 28 – only for the game to be pushed back by 24 hours following Tranmere’s progression in the FA Cup.
And with a number of supporters set to be affected, Sunderland have now explained how fans can claim a full refund for their match tickets ahead of the fixture.
A club statement read: “Due to the late rescheduling of the fixture, supporters now unable to attend the game can obtain a refund.
“To do so, your original ticket must be returned to the Stadium of Light box office by 5pm on Monday, 27 January.
“Supporters are advised that there will be no sales available on the day of the game at Prenton Park, though, and all tickets must be purchased in advance.”
