All eyes have been on Germany this weekend, as the Bundesliga became the first major European league to return to action following the coronavirus outbreak.
And these revealing pictures show how football could look when it eventually returns to the Stadium of Light – whether in the coming weeks or months:
1. Players wore masks as they inspected the field

2. Temperature checks were administered outside the stadium
While all matches are being played behind closed doors, the limited number of spectators who were allowed to enter - such as members of the media - had their temperatures checked prior to entering the stadium. Photo: Maja Hitij
