'He's gonna be a cult legend!': Sunderland fans rejoice as sought-after Arbenit Xhemajli pens deal

The Kosovan international, who played for the Black Cats in their pre-season friendly at Gateshead, has agreed a two-year deal at the Stadium of Light after a ‘significant’ compensation was agreed with Swiss club Xamax.

Xhemajli becomes the club’s fifth summer signing, following Aiden O’Brien, Bailey Wright, Remi Matthews and Morgan Feeney through the door.

And having been left impressed with what they have seen so far from their latest recruit, Sunderland fans are tipping the 22-year-old to go on to achieve big things on Wearside.
