'Get him in the squad!': Sunderland fans have this message for Phil Parkinson ahead of Charlton Athletic

Sunderland fans have called on Phil Parkinson to hand youngster Dan Neil a chance in the first-team fold – after the midfielder penned a new long-term contract at the Stadium of Light.

Despite reported interest from Premier League sides, Neil has committed his future to his boyhood club after signing a three-year deal.

And ahead of the visit to Charlton Athletic, fans have called for Neil to be given an opportunity.
