Fresh twist in Sunderland Will Grigg saga as MK Dons now favourites to land Shrewsbury, Oxford and Fleetwood target

MK Dons are now reported to be favourites to land Will Grigg on loan today.

Shrewsbury Town had thought to be the frontrunners but reports now suggest MK Dons have moved ahead in the race to land Grigg before tonight’s 11pm deadline.

Fleetwood Town, managed by Simon Grayson, have also been linked, while Oxford United boss Karl Robinson says he is ‘desperate’ to sign Grigg.

Speaking last week Robinson told the Oxford Mail: "I'm desperate to bring in Will Grigg."
