It is the start of a new week in League One and the beginning of a new era with the introduction of the salary cap. The landscape has altered for clubs in the bottom two tiers of the English Football League. They are no vulnerable to predators from the Championship and even Premier League looking for bargain deals.

3. Leeds United set to announce Wigan ace

Stoke City are the latest club to join the race for in-demand Wigan Athletic striker Kiefer Moore.
