'Embarrassing' '£500k is ridiculous!' - Fed-up Sunderland fans react as Norwich City close in on Bali Mumba

Sunderland fans have reacted strongly to two pieces of transfer news this afternoon, with Norwich City closing in on a £500,000 deal for Bali Mumba while striker Kyle Lafferty has left the club after his short-term deal expired.

As we exclusively revealed earlier, Norwich are in talks over a shock swoop for Mumba.

The two clubs have been in talks for a number of weeks over a potential deal, likely to comprise an initial fee and performance related add-ons.

On Twitter, Glen Proctor posted: "Should be in the first team, never looked out of place and always looked comfortable. We can not afford to keep losing our talented young prospects for nominal fees."
