Sunderland have previously been credited with an interest in him, though manager Phil Parkinson remained coy when quizzed earlier this week.
Swindon Town have confirmed their interest in the midfielder, however, ahead of the Friday teatime deadline for domestic deals in England.

Hide AdWhile Parkinson was giving little away on links with the 20-year-old, Swindon coach Tommy Wright has confirmed that his side are keen to strike a deal for the Marcelo Bielsa favourite.


But he was quick to insist the deal was not a ‘definite’, with Hull and Huddersfield among the other clubs linked.
“I’ve watched Robbie quite a lot for Leeds – I know Leeds well having been there as a player,” said Wright, speaking to the Swindon Advertiser.
“He’s a good young player. You can see me smiling as I say that. I’m not saying it’s definite, but there is a bit of interest there from our point of view.

Sunderland are well stocked for central midfielders with the priority bolstering options in defence.
Parkinson said earlier this week: "In that area we've got a lot of players.
“We've also got some youngsters of our own in that position.
