Borussia Dortmund have reportedly joined Real Madrid in watching Sunderland's teenage sensation Jobe Bellingham's progress at the Stadium of Light.

The 18-year-old moved to the Stadium of Light from Birmingham City over the summer window as brother Jude Bellingham completed a sensational switch from Dortmund to Real Madrid for a whopping €103 million.

Since his arrival in Spain, the England international has cemented himself as a firm fan favourite and has already scored ten goals in ten games for the Spanish giants.

Brother Jobe Bellingham has also enjoyed a good start to the 2023-24 season and is now a regular in midfield under head coach Tony Mowbray and has also been deployed as a striker and an attacking midfielder.

Jobe Bellingham has played 11 times for Sunderland so far in the Championship, netting two goals and earning another call-up to England's under-19 set-up.

Earlier this month, Spanish publication El National stated that Real Madrid were scouting the player.

Fast forward to this week and German website Corriere dello Sport has claimed that the youngster is also being followed by Borussia Dortmund.

The Bellingham family have links to the German club with Jude Bellingham playing for the club for three seasons before joining Madrid last summer.

Sunderland are next in action against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

Tony Mowbray's men have lost three of their last five coming into the clash, including the 2-1 loss to Alex Neil's Stoke City in the league last weekend at the Bet365 Stadium.
