Lee Johnson’s side haven’t guaranteed a place in the top six but are still likely to finish in the play-offs, despite their poor run of form.

Vanessa Reed said: Yes. I thought we were unlucky last night. Come on LJ get the lads’ heads up and confidence back, you have done an amazing job with all the injuries especially in defence

Neil Pea Peace agreed: Me personally, I think we will go up through the play-offs, got a good manager and the team we have is good enough to go up

Tony Suggsy Bot added: It's hard to be positive on current form , but football is a funny old game could scrape in and win play-off final

Tom Martin replied: We have two games left to try and find some form. If we manage, then anything is possible, if we don't win one of those two games, we may not even make the play-offs

Les Turner predicted: Yes! We were unlucky in the second half last night. Their keeper stopped two with his legs that he didn’t know about, made a great save and watched helplessly as a deflection went inches wide.

Stephen Hope posted: Form abysmal but it can improve in time to qualify and win play-offs.

Graeme Daines admitted: Unfortunately no, they will be lucky to get two points out of the last two games, they need at least three to maintain a play-off place

Brian Bavins Jones responded: If you think that we are going to win the play-offs you must be deluded. I for one would love us two go up but on the last six weeks no way

Billy Maynard commented: We are Sunderland it will go to the wire. We will go home ecstatic or heart broken. Just like before Haway
