There are just two weeks of the January transfer window remaining – with in and outgoings still possible at Sunderland.
The Black Cats are yet to make a signing this month, with head coach Michael Beale insisting hard work is ongoing behind the scenes.
Sunderland are keen to bring in another striker before the end of the window, while they are also looking to bolster their options in central midfield and at full-back. Here are 13 deals which could still happen this month:

5. Luke Thomas - POTENTIAL SIGNING
Following significant injury setbacks for Dennis Cirkin and Niall Huggins, Sunderland are assessing their left-back options. Thomas, 22, made 13 appearances for Sheffield United in all competitions in the first half of this season, before he was recalled by parent club Leicester. The Foxes appear willing to allow the defender to leave this month, either permanently or on loan. Photo: JUSTIN TALLIS

6. Hemir - POTENTIAL EXIT
If Sunderland are able to sign another striker, they may allow Hemir to leave on loan and gain more first-team experience. The 20-year-old hasn't played for the first team since the end of November and has started just one Championship match since his summer move from Benfica. Photo: Frank Reid

7. Amad - POTENTIAL SIGNING
Sunderland have made it clear they would be interested in re-signing Amad and feel they would be in a good position if Manchester United decide to send the player out on loan again. At this stage, though, the Premier League club plan to keep the 21-year-old who has recently returned from a knee injury. Photo: Ash Donelon

8. Ellis Taylor - POTENTIAL EXIT
The 20-year-old hasn't been able to break into Sunderland's first team, with his contract set to expire at the end of this season. Taylor may be allowed to leave Wearside to gain more first-team football. Photo: Frank Reid
