Andrew Jones, Michael Bayles and substitute Craig Deighton did the damage for Central, who may have kick-started their season having failed to win any of their six games in Division Two, and sit bottom of the table.

Lee Sennett was Central’s man of the match.

Star man Gareth Milburn and Ben Davies notched in vain for Oddfellows.

Premier Division front-runners Dawdon Welfare Park survived a huge scare against Second Division battlers Wingate Plough Inn in their John & Pat McManus Memorial Cup tie.

Plough took the Green Drive side right to the wire before going down 4-3.

Dan Gorton, Thomas Young and Joe Coulson netted for the Plough, but Robbie Bird and Kyle Bell both struck twice to steer Dawdon through.

In the only Premier Division game played, a goal from Dave Beeston gave Shotton Comrades the lead at half-time against Hetton The Tuns.
