After an awful run of luck on the injury front, things appear to be looking up for the Magpies ahead of Molineux. Skipper Jamaal Lascelles and creative spark Allan Saint-Maximin are the stand out returnees, if they get through the final sessions of the week.
Here we take a look at the starting XI Steve Bruce could pick this weekend.
5. Miguel Almiron - central midfield
An absolute revelation since moving into the centre of the park in a three. Two goals in the last few weeks has taken the metaphorical monkey off the Paraguayan's back. Photo: Laurence Griffiths
6. Jetro Willems - left-back
Has provided the width for United down the left all season but has seen his levels drop of late. Will likely return on the left ahead of Matt Ritchie, also back from injury. Photo: Clive Brunskill
7. Allan Saint-Maximin - forward
The Frenchman would be a massive risk to throw in from the off, more likely to be on the United bench. Even just having him available would provide a big boost for the United manager. Photo: Jan Kruger
8. Dwight Gayle - forward
He's done absolutely nothing to warrant it but Gayle is likely to be fit and ready for a start on Saturday. Photo: Ian MacNicol
