Bruce today spoke to the media ahead of the relegationt-threatened club’s home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers tomorrow, and Joelinton, forced off against Manchester United last weekend with a groin injury, is fit, though the game could come too soon for Federico Fernandez.

"Joelinton’s OK,” said head coach Bruce. “Feddy Fernandez has trained all week. It still might be a bit too early for him. Everybody else is OK.”

Callum Wilson (hamstring) and Javier Manquillo (ankle) are also making good progress from their longer-term injuries.

“Manquillo’s doing very, very well,” said Bruce. “Better than we thought with his ankle problem. Obviously, it’s a muscle injury, so we’ve got to box clever.”
