Serbian international on Newcastle United radar eyed for Serie A move

AC Milan are eyeing a deal with Real Madrid flop Luka Jovic in a bid to steal a march on their Premier League rivals for his signature.

The £62million frontman has failed to convince Zinedine Zidane he is the man to lead the Real line beyond the lifespan of Karim Benzema and could be allowed to leave the Bernabeu when the transfer window reopens.

And according to reports Newcastle United, along with Arsenal, are interested in the player, when the Magpies’ Saudi-financed takeover is eventually given the green light by the Premier League.

But, reports in Italy suggest Milan are looking to snatch the Serbian hitman from under the noses of their English rivals and have already made contact with the player’s agent, Fali Ramadani.

Jovic was a Bundesliga sensation last season netting him a La Liga move, following on from a short spell at Benfica. Reports state the 22-year-old will be available for around £30million.
