The Blues appear ready to let the 20-year-old leave on loan this summer, yet it doesn’t look like he’ll be heading to St James’ Park.

According to The Evening Standard, Gilmour is in talks with Norwich over a season-long loan move

The report claims that Southampton were keen on a deal in January before Chelsea ruled out an exit.

West Ham to land teenage winger

Newcastle also look set to miss out on Celtic winger Armstrong Okoflex.

The Magpies had been linked with the 19-year-old, who has struggled to progress from Celtic’s academy side to the first team.

Yet according to Herald and Times Sport, Okoflex is in London to finalise a move to West Ham.

Martin Dubravka nightmare

Finally, Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka endured a day to forget as Slovakia were beaten 2-0 by Spain and crashed out of Euro 2020.

After saving a penalty from Alvaro Morata, Dubravka made a calamitous error when he slapped the ball into his own net after Pablo Sarabia's shot hit the crossbar.

At half-time, ITV pundit Gary Neville said: “I think because it's come down from such a distance it's probably more difficult to parry over the bar - maybe he has to go with his fist.

"It's an embarrassing one for him.”
