Hide AdAnd speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the clash with Sheffield United, Bruce admits that the constant speculation has proved a distraction.
“Well you can't deny it's a distraction, but you can't use that as an excuse,” he said.
“All I can do is focus my staff and prepare the players the best they can.
“Obviously the quicker there's a decision the better for everyone. It's not great, let's be honest, but let's get on with the job at hand and do the best we can.”
