The Black Cats' boss has made three changes from the side that drew 1-1 at Oxford, as Luke O'Nien, Duncan Watmore and Lynden Gooch are handed starts in an attack-minded team.

Max Power, Lewis Morgan and Adam Matthews drop out of the starting line-up as Ross looks to improve Sunderland's fortunes in front of goal.
