Hartlepool United sign Middlesbrough striker and former AFC Wimbledon loan man Charlie Wyke

HARTLEPOOL United have brought Charlie Wyke back to the club - and the young striker goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s trip to Wimbledon.

The 21-year-old has joined on a one-month loan deal from Middlesbrough.

Wyke was brought to Pools first in 2012-13, making 26 appearances and scoring two goals.

Ironically, last season he spent three months on loan at Wimbledon, scoring twice in 17 games for the Wombles.
