Neither of the East Europeans are pushovers.

Avetisian must be one of the busiest boxers on the planet - he is a year younger tha Ward yet he has already had 65 bouts, 37 of them wins.

The 25-year-old boxed 14 times in 2014, winning seven, all his victories by stoppage.

Gachechiladze should be a familiar name, as well as a long one.

The 28-year-old boxed Martin in the Neil Fannan and Dave Garside star’s 16th pro contest in May 2012.

It proved a tough one with the opponent giving him a serious argument before a body shot brought a stoppage from referee Mark Curry in the eighth round.

The Wards are just two of the stars on the promotion tagged Colossal.

Sunday’s headline fight is unbeaten Sunderland star Thomas Essomba’s fight with African Isaac Quaye for the International Masters bronze belt. Promoter Phil Jeffries is featuring some of the region’s newest boxers.
