Sunderland has had some fantastic artwork over the years - but none left as big an impression as this one, according to our readers.
It was the floating tap at Roker and when we asked people for their memories of it, they had plenty to say.
Today, we are taking a look back at the piece which started out as a work of art in the 1980s and later became a part of Sunderland Illuminations.
Let’s see what you had to say about it and what else we can tell you about its history.
And if you want to share more recollections of the tap, or any other piece of famous Wearside artwork, get in touch and tell us more by emailing [email protected]
