What a fantastic lot you are! Just look at the backing that the people of Wearside and East Durham gave to the Sunderland Echo Toy Appeal over the years.
We scoured the Echo archives to find these reminders of the appeal and its success between 1999 and 2022.
It did not matter if you were in Leechmere, Seaham, Washington, Roker, Doxford Park, Ryhope or the city centre, you all responded to our appeal with the same fantastic enthusiasm.
Take a look at our launch story and find out how you can give your support. And to give you some inspiration, take a browse at our selection of photo memories.
