Nine guitar memories from Sunderland over the years
Reflections from Bede, Bournmoor and King's Music
We love these scenes yeah yeah yeah.
Guitars are big news at the moment thanks to Paul McCartney and his Lost Bass Project. It's his bid to trace the original Höfner bass guitar which he used in the 1960s.
It got us thinking about the great Sunderland Echo guitar scenes we've seen over the years.
We found this lot in the archives. See if they strike a chord with you.

1. See if these strike a chord
Altogether now .... we want your memories of these guitar scenes.

2. Time for a busk
Sunderland footballers John Kay, on guitar, and Gordon Armstrong join Red Cross workers in 1993. They held a fund raising "Buskaround" in Sunderland Market Place.

3. What a bargain
David Jackson with the £300 guitar he bought for just £1 at King's Music in Borough Road in 1993.

4. He is the champion - of guitar making
Martin Smith, 16, with the replica Brian May guitar he spent six months making in 2000.
