Happy times at Hylton Red House Nursery as we spotlight pictures from the past

Story time, play sessions and children on stage. We have it all in this selection of photos from Hylton Red House School’s nursery.

There’s a whole gallery of photo memories to enjoy as well as plenty of pupils to spot, in this series of scenes from the school which is in Rotherham Road in Sunderland.

We just had to look back in time after the school made Sunderland Echo headlines last week. We told how it received a glowing Ofsted report after its latest inspection.

Inspectors judged Hylton Red House Nursery to be working at a strong standard for achievement, behaviour attitudes and establishing routines, curriculum and teaching, inclusion, and leadership and governance.

Have a look at our archive images which span from 2005 to 2015, and see if you can spot a familiar face.
