We are heading back to the classroom for another wonderful set of Sunderland school photos and this time it’s Highfield Academy in the spotlight.
Look at all these superb scenes from the Fordfield Road school’s past, all taken from the Sunderland Echo archives.
There are scenes from 2011 when pupils went to the pictures, put on a show and displayed their musical talents.
Youngsters were pictured raising money in 2013 and took part in a colourful carnival in 2015. The school also revealed its wonderful poppy display in 2018.
We hope these photos bring back fantastic memories for you. See if you can spot someone you know and then get in touch to tell us more.
Or perhaps you would like to tell us about other types of nostalgia you would want to see in our retro section.
It might be memories of your favourite shop, club, nightclub or restaurant. Maybe you want to get back in touch with former workmates from a Sunderland factory, or with pals who you went to school with.
Or perhaps you would like to share memories of a sporting occasion in the past which you would like to revisit.
