Albany Primary in Washington pictured through the years in a class set of school memories

It’s a school in the news. That’s Albany Village Primary School in Washington which is making headlines in the Sunderland Echo.

We recently told how Brenda Bradshaw, 84, first started working at Albany Village Primary School, in Crossgill, back in 1976 as a lunchtime supervisor.

Brenda celebrated her 50th anniversary on Friday with a special school assembly and tea and cake with her family.

But we wanted to pay a further tribute with a gallery of memories from the school over the years.

Here is a gallery of Echo photos from 2003 to 2014. See how many you remember and then get in touch to share your own recollections by emailing [email protected]
