People due to get their coronavirus vaccine could be eligible for the free ride to their appointment.

Uber is offering 28,000 free vehicles, with the promotion extending to all trips, including wheelchair accessible Uber Access vehicles, and Uber Assist vehicles, for those needing assistance getting in and out of the taxi.

Trips will be covered up to the value of £15. If the ride costs more than £15, the person who was booked will be liable to pay the remaining cost of the trip, via their chosen payment method.

The journey will need to start or finish at the vaccination centre in order to qualify, and is subject to availability.
