Applications for a role described as the 'best job in the world' have opened up to the public.
Known as the World Life Experience, 11 successful applicants are taken on a round the globe tour with the goal of developing their awareness of the social and cultural diversity of the World.

Hide AdOne year, 20 countries
Over one year employees will travel 20 different countries earning an annual salary of €30,000 with travel and living expenses both covered.
During their time abroad the lucky 11 will engage in social and environmental activities at their various stops, interacting with various local NGOs and charities in the process. Projects vary from helping needy populations to collaborating on reconstruction and environmental preservation projects

Each member of the group is encouraged to document their experience via social media, showcasing the projects and championing those involved.
Countries visited include; Brazil, Costa Rica, Thailand and Australia.

Lucky applicants will be taking part in the second World Life Experience
The first World Life Experience set off earlier this year and feedback has been strong from the first wave of young employees.
Hugo Pinon is among those involved in the groundbreaking trip.
"This trip is incredible," he says. "We have been to several European countries and Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. We will also be going to the American continent and I look forward to continuing to collaborate in the social transformation of the communities we will meet."

Hide AdOne of Pinon's colleagues, Arianny Orellanes, went a step further and described the placement as "the best job in the world.".
The American revealed: "I am traveling in a socially sustainable way. Interacting with diverse societies and cultures, with whom I work. At the same time, I have intimate hands-on experiences and get to associate with enthusiastic people."
Applications for the second wave of the World Life Experience are open to all between the ages of 21 and 39. Sucessful applicants will be required to travel from January 2019 through to November.
The deadline for applications is next month on July 20.
