Sunderland needs to sort out its bin collections
I feel as though I must complain about the recent item in the Sunderland Echo about people getting fined over their bins.
I have complained a few times about the bins left at the gate in middle of the drive. I have pulled round quite a few times from Durham Road in to my drive on Cairnside and had to get out of my car to move the bins to the side of the gates.
As you know Durham Road is a very busy road, there could easily have been an accident.
So have a word with your bin men before you start threatening people.
