Woodbridge storms up the league

Glen Woodbridge continued his move up the Golden Fleece Darts League table with two superb victories.

Woodbridge defeated Darren Johnston 5-3 and Andy Clark 5-1.

Woodbridge’s best legs were 15, 17, 18, 19 (twice), 20 and 21 (twice), plus a great finish of 116 and a 180.

Kev Long beat Paul Moon 5-1, with Long’s best leg coming in 20 darts.

Jaxon Douglass defeated Norman Place 5-2, with both players’ best leg being a 21-darter.

Jack Revely beat Don Green 5-2 and Pete Wilson drew with John Doran.

Mike McBain beat Micky Watson 5-2, securing the win with best legs of 18 (twice), 20 and 21, plus a great finish of 108.

Marco Laybourn moved up into second place with a 5-3 win over Denny Cullen.

Steve Richardson saw off the challenge of Micky Long 5-2.

Baz Walker stormed to a 5-1 win over Steve Carr as Walker enjoyed winning legs of 13, 19 (twice) and 20, including a 180.

Micky Seaman beat Steve Carr 5-1 and Micky Watson bounced back from an earlier defeat to beat Don Green 5-1.
