Woman taken to hospital following crash on A19 near Hartlepool

Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle collision on the A19 northbound near Hartlepool at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, September 30.
The northbound section of the A19 was closed between the A689 and A179 while police and ambulance crews attended the scene, but the road has since reopened.

Hide AdA woman was cut from a Ford Ka before being taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of North Tees with minor injuries.
A North East Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 12pm to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A19 northbound at Hartlepool.
"We dispatched a double-crewed ambulance and transported one female patient with minor injuries to the University Hospital of North Tees."
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called to a report of a collision on the A19 northbound near Wolviston around midday, involving a number of vehicles.
"A female driver was cut from a Ford Ka.
