WIN: Five pairs of tickets to Sunderland's Sunniside Live festival

 After proving a hit last year, the festival returns this summer with headliners Brand New Heavies.

 The jazz funk band will take to the stage at Sunniside Gardens on July 16 alongside North East groups Smoove & Turrell and Dennis, along with special guests Alison Limerick and Shola Ama.

 The event, which runs from noon to 10pm, is organised by Helen Davies and Sean Maddison, who run both Bar Justice and newly opened Gin & Bear it Bar at West Sunniside and is being supported by Sunderland BID.

 Sean said: “Sunniside Live was created to give the people of Sunderland the live music festival that the city is currently lacking. Costs have spiralled but luckily local sponsors have stepped up to support the event and keep it on track.
