Will Smith makes century ahead of Durham's County Championship clash with Leicestershire
Durham's Second XI succumbed to a nine-wicket defeat in their friendly against Scotland at the Emirates Riverside yesterday.
Will Smith hit a century to boost preparations for the return to Specsavers County Championship action tomorrow.
Smith fired 18 fours in a 231-ball knock of 136 as Durham battled to 376 in their second innings to make the Scots, 346 ahead on first innings, bat again.

Hide AdSmith had good support from Stuart Poynter (61, with seven fours, off 79 balls), while James Weighell managed 43 runs at No 9, with five fours and a six.
Bowler Hamza Tahir ended with 6-104.
Scotland lost one wicket in wrapping up victory in eight overs.
